Recipe: Schmandtorte

A German flatmate once taught me how to bake a delicious Schmandtorte. Yesterday, I prepared it for a special occassion. 🙂

Here is the recipe:

Boden:

  • 1 Tasse Zucker
  • 1.5 Tasse Mehl
  • 0.5 Tasse Fanta (Limo)
  • 0.5 Tasse Öl
  • 0.5 Backpulver
  • 2 Eigelb, Eiweiß schlagen und unterheben
  • bei 200 Grad 20 min backen

Belag (ohne backen):

  • 2x200g süße Sahne + 1EßL (tbsp.) Zucker steif schlagen
  • + 1x200g Schmand
  • + 2 Dosen Mandarinen (abgetropft) darunterheben
  • auf den Boden geben
  • mit Zucker und Zimt bestreuen
  • 2 Stunden kühl stellen
