I had never seen snow before and the first I saw was in 2010. Thanks to one really kind polish family, I spent my first white X’mas in Poland! Wesołych Świąt! Merry Christmas!

The preparation for the Christmas eve began with the decoration of the Christmas tree. There were presents under the tree!
The following photos were taken during the day trip to Krakow:

In the centre of Main Market Square (Rynek Główny) is the 16th-century Renaissance Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), with souvenir shops on the ground floor and a gallery of polish paintings on the upper floor.

On the way to the famous Gothic architecture in Krakow – St Mary’s Church. The construction of this church lasted from 13th century to the 16th century.

This is the most amazing, most breathtaking, most majestic stained-glass window I have ever seen! It is found inside the Franciscan Church. The title of this church window has an impressive title: “God, the Father – let there be light!”, and it displays God’s creation of the world. Upon closer look, there are four elements – fire, air, water, and earth – being painted as the ingredients for this dramatic moment of creation.
